Love Marriage VS Arranged Marriage

Marriage is an institution based on faith and respect It is a bond between two persons who start their lives together. Each religion has different way of marriage. They all have their own rituals and the ways by which they perform marriages. But the meaning and purity remains the same for all. In India it’s meaning are different. It is not only a bond between two people but two families also. A bride is held responsible for taking care of the whole family of the groom. Mostly in India, arranged marriages are done. Boy and girl’s parents fix up the marriages without much considering their children’s opinions. The girl and boy are supposed to give the consent to their parent’s decision. The girl marriages to the boy of her parent choice. Even if she does not like, she can not say ‘NO’. Generally the dowry takes place in the arranged marriages.
Since modernization has taken place and more and more boys and girls are getting education so they are coming in interaction with each other. They are becoming close friends to each other also. The reason for this is that most of the colleges in India are now offering coeducation to girls and boys both. They are not seeing the gender while becoming friends. The means of friendship has changed. They prefer the understanding and mentality for becoming friendly. In the process they start loving each other too and plan to get married. They talk to their parents. Some families are modernised and do not give importance to the religion and caste so get agreed for love marriages. But there are many families in the Indian society who are very conservative and give importance to the cast and religion. For them these factors are above the humanity. They wear modern dresses, cut their hair in a new styles, talk in a stylish way but when it comes the matter of love marriages of their children then they become rude. They want the girl or boy of their choice only. They do not want to break the wall of caste and religion. This is not fair. Due to this many couples commit suicide. Many parents kill their child and his choice also. The latest case we can see is of Nitish Katara. He was in love with Bharti Yadav who was a sister of Vikash Yadav. She is from a very strong political family. Her brothers came to know about their affair. They were against this but the girl and boy did not care for this. At last Vikash and his cousin, Vishal murdered Nitish. Nitish’s mother is fighting for her son’s justice since last 6 years. Today only she got justice in the Supreme Court. The court held Vishal and Vikas Yadav responsible for the murder. There are so many cases in India we can see like this. Today also parents do not see their children’s happiness. They have a fear for society. The girl’s parents are ready to give as much dowry as the boy’s families ask for but do not want to listen to the girl. They do not want to marry their girl as per her choice. This is not at all acceptable.
Today’s society has to be changed. One should try to remove these stigmas from the society. We need to learn that it two human being who have to spend their life together not the society. So their consent for the marriage is more important than the society. The society does not come first for the help. The society is always there to criticize but rarely comes for the support.

Role of television in today’s Family

Today’s high modern society does not call a family modern till it does not have electronic gadgets. In electronic gadgets also, televisions plays an important role.
Television is an electronic device which is widely used as a source of entertainment. It can show you movies, songs, news, knowledge etc. You can get news of any part of the world by sitting at home only. A family watches the television and is included in their schedule like any other house hold tasks. Television has affected society a lot. It has both good and bad affect as below:

Good Impact of television on Society
(1) It gives news related to sports, geography, business, society etc. while sitting at home.
(2) It is a cheaper medium of entertainment.
(3) We can watch movies by configuring DVD player with the television. Then you can watch any movie of your interest.
(4) The television telecasts serials also which help in the job offering of people. By seeing these one can apply for the job.
(5) Television offers programs on animals and nature also. It imparts knowledge of natural happenings, nature threat and other society issues also. By seeing the programs children can learn a lot about other animals, plants and nature
(6) One can learn other lessons on cooking, sewing, make up etc. also by watching television.

These are few of the good effects of television on society but apart from this it has bad effect also like below:

Bad Impact of television on Society
After seeing the advantages of television, one would think it is a very good thing and does not have any negative points. But this is not the case. Everything has its own plus and negative points. The worst negative effect of this is on today’s society. Today’s generation is devoting most of its time on watching televisions. It is seeing whatever is coming on television without even thinking if is good or not. The dresses, the wordings, lyrics in few of the songs watched are vulgar. They have lost their direction. They are mixing their studies with the entertainment that is being shown on television. Sometimes there are 2 or 3 televisions in a house. Each room has its own television. Everyone gets busy in his room. Old aged people like to watch politics or religious serials, Youngsters want to see movies and songs, kids want to watch carton network, house wives watch serials on relations and kitchen. So in this way then have got more attached it the television. The time that a family used to devote in talking and eating together, now the television has snatches that. They hardly get any time to have any discussions. After seeing crime report channel many come to know the different way of doing crime. The crime has increased. The fashion has changed. People are following their favourite actor and actresses. They are spending money blindly to become like them. The society is not going in a right direction. Every thing is imitated from televisions which is not good sometimes or can say most of the time. So it’s the viewer who has to decide what he wants to do with television

Food crisis and shortage

In the past few years it’s been noticed that the quantity of food all over the world is decreasing while the need of the same has increased a lot. This has led to the imbalance in the demand and supply phenomenon of Economics. The overall impact of this on the society is the spectre of a hungry world, political upheavals and impatient and dissatisfied consumer.
Some two centuries ago, British Political scientist Thomas Rober Malthus proposed a theory. As per his theory he stated that population will grow till it outstrips food production, and then famines, wars and epidemics will intervene to restore the balance. This shows that today’s condition had been estimated by the great people many years ago.
One of the main reasons for this unbalance in the food supply, price and demand is the ever increasing amount in the population. There are so many mouths to feed in today’s time. In 1950, the world’s population was near about 2.5 billion. Some years back it crossed even 6 billion marks. According to a report submitted by United Nations Population Divisions, the world population would be somewhere between 8 and 10 billion by 2050.This is giving a warning to the entire world for the near future if not controlled at present. In relation to the increasing population if we see the food production ratio then we can see that in 1950, world food grain production was 631 million tonnes. This increased by about 3 times to 1.843 MT by 2000 and further to 2,075 MT in 2007. This proves that the grain production is more as comparatively to the increase in the population.
In future but the grain production would not be the same. Earth has its capacity of yielding. If the population goes on increasing then the food production will not be the same. Moreover now a day more and more of the land is being used in the building of the factories, schools, houses etc. Most of the land which was being used in the cultivation is now used in the commercial activities. So the land coming under filed is reducing. This is also reducing the total output of the fields.

Saying Sorry....

A small argument can lead to a big fight which could spoil a relationship very badly. It is always good to handle these little arguments at a very initial stage when they arise instead of giving them air to ignite. One best practise is to say” I AM SORRY”. Below are few of the tips that you can start how you can start this:
(1) Never hesitate to say sorry. If you are hesitating that how you would feel then don’t think so. Just say sorry and then feel the difference.
(2)Don’t bring you past and talk anything that might have happened in your past with the person that you have fight. This will not help you out in moving ahead in your relationship. Be calm and ready to forget the past and forgive.
(3) Saying sorry will help your relationship growing stronger. It will help you feel’ just right’ and stable.
(4) There are occasions when you and your partner won’t have the same opinion. But that doesn’t mean that you walk away from each other. You have to fix up a meet up time for saying sorry and patching up.
(5) If you cannot say it directly then can leave a sorry note also or can buy a Sorry card from the shop and can give your partner secretly or openly.

Kids ruin the marriage!!!

In a latest study it was revealed that a kid entry in a family can ruin the marriage. Earlier kids were considered to be bloom for the relationship. People often told that if they want the relationship to be stable then kids entry is must.
The latest theory has been launched by Prof Daniel Fulbert of Harvard University. He said that married life is the key to happiness but having kids can ruin it all, and couples only recover their blissful existence once their offspring have left the nest. He said more, a desire by couples to get a return on time and money they have invested in their children is part of the reason they persuade themselves that their offspring are enhancing their lives.
He said “Figures show that married people are in almost every way happier than unmarried people __whether they are single, divorced, cohabiting. Married people live longer, earn more sex and enjoy it more, however when couples have kids, happiness plummet. Children do seem to increase happiness you are expecting them, but as soon as you have them, trouble sets in. And happiness returns around the time when children grow up and go away.”

Insuance is something that protects a commodity from natural or artificial calamity, Same thing applies in the case of family. Since family is bond among its members. Afamily can have father, mother, brother, daughter, son and many more. Generally the head of the family is the person who earns bread and butter for the family. It becomes important for him to get himself insured against anything wrong that can happen like accident, death etc. In his absence his members can come other many problems like money shortage, studies breakage etc. Any wrong can happen can happen to the family member.
